Having previously worked in Human Resources and Industrial Relations in a large catering environment, Nicole spent the last 10 years working in the disability field. Since having her daughter Amy in 2001 and then her son Jack in mid 2003 whilst in Melbourne, she and her husband made the move back to Tassie in late 2003. Since then, Nicole has held a variety of positions, working with both families and children with varying special needs. The roles have seen her develop a wide and diverse range of skills covering education and training, parent support, occupational therapy assistant in classrooms, private ABA therapy assistant work and payroll and administration. Nicole has a very practical understanding of what everyday life is like when you have a child in the family who has a disability as her son Jack has autism.
