Kate Stockford – Secretary

Kate Stockford is a lawyer with Page Seager Lawyers who specialises in insurance law, in particular in workers compensation and personal injuries matters.  In addition to her law degree Kate also has an Arts degree with Honours in International Relations.

Kate has experience in identifying risks, considering liability, and providing reasoned advice on insurance matters as well as regularly appearing in Tribunals and Courts as required.  During university, Kate had experience with other volunteer roles including being an active Taskforce member organising Youth Parliament camps and regularly adjudicating for the Tasmanian Debating Union schools program.

Kate is also a member of the Tasmanian State Committee of the Australian Insurance Law Association and was involved in running a workers compensation masterclass for industry members in 2015.
