Welcome to The Association for Children with Disability (Tasmania) Inc. Website

Widely known as ACD Tas, we are a peer-led not-for-profit disability specialist family organisation. Established in 1998 by a group of parents of children with disability who recognised the need for a professional state-wide family advocacy organisation, today ACD Tas offers independent:

  • Information and Training
  • Advocacy
  • Case Coordination (NDIS Support Coordination) 
  • Consultancy, and
  • Peer Support Services to families and children and young people with disability living anywhere in Tasmania.

ACD Tas services are delivered by professional staff, who are in many cases family peers with lived experience of disability, who work out of regional offices in Devonport, Launceston, and Hobart and home offices across Tasmania.
