Ainsley began her career in Queensland after completing a Bachelor of Behavioural Science. She worked predominantly with people who had vision impairment both in Brisbane and traveling regularly around Queensland to a number of more remote locations. During this time, Ainsley studied for a Masters in Human Services.
In 2010, Ainsley commenced a short-term role in Hobart but soon relocated permanently. Since that time, she has been working alongside Tasmanians with disability, their families, and their support networks in a variety of roles to support positive outcomes.
Outside of work, Ainsley enjoys spending time with her young family and orienteering.
