Janet has had a long and winding road in the sector of which she has enjoyed every aspect. She studied and commenced teaching in the U.S., then came to Australia for more teaching; working in the non-government sector for a recreational organization, and is now back teaching at TasTAFE. Janet is now at the stage of winding down and working as a casual across a range of areas to which she has an especially deep commitment.
