Eleanor has been a part of ACD Tas since she was a part of the pilot Youth Empowering Peers leaders group in 2021.
Eleanor has an Autism assistance dog, Logan, who goes everywhere with her. Eleanor also works casually at her other job, teaching, facilitating and modelling social skills to disabled and neurodiverse youth via role-playing games twice a week during the school terms.
Eleanor’s family is very bustling, currently with 3 cats, 1 dog, 4 ferrets, 5 frogs, 1 blue tongue and 2 brothers. Although she has moved out of home recently.
With her trusty assistance dog, Logan she is often seen in the Southern office helping out although is involved with the Empowered Me Program; which is being delivered in schools with facilitated group sessions that support learning through fun activities; and work with Individual students.
