
Mark Krause is a dedicated community advocate, known for his deep commitment to social inclusion and historical preservation. With extensive experience as a support coordinator, Mark has worked alongside individuals navigating disability and mental health services, helping them build meaningful connections and access the support they need.
He is a driving force behind the Willow Court Tasmania History Group and the Willow Court Advocacy Group, where he has led efforts to preserve and share the stories of one of Australia’s oldest mental health institutions. Through public tours, education, and advocacy, Mark has helped bring national and international attention to Willow Court’s legacy, culminating in its recognition as a Site of Conscience by the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time in nature and enjoying the company of his family.
