Nicole Gates – General Manager

Nicole has over 20 years’ experience in the disability sector, underpinned by an early career in Human Resources and Industrial Relations within a large catering organisation.

Her unique blend of expertise spans education and training, parent support, consultancy, finance, payroll, and administration—anchored by firsthand insight into family life with a child who has multiple disabilities.

After a decade in Melbourne, her family returned home to Tasmania in 2003. Since then, she’s partnered with families, educators, clinicians, and community agencies to design and deliver person-centred services that empower children with disability and their family/carers. Her hands-on approach and collaborative mindset ensure practical, sustainable solutions that improve quality of life.
