Nicole Gates – Program Manager

Having previously worked in Human Resources and Industrial Relations in a large catering environment, Nicole spent the last 10 years working in the disability field. After having her daughter Amy in 2001 and then her son Jack in mid-2003 whilst in Melbourne, she and her husband made the move back to Tassie in late 2003. Since then, Nicole has held a variety of positions, working with both families and children with varying special needs. The roles have seen her develop a wide and diverse range of skills covering education and training, parent support, occupational therapy assistant in classrooms, private ABA therapy assistant work and payroll & administration. Nicole has a very practical understanding of what everyday life is like when you have a child in the family who has a disability as her son Jack has autism.
