Nicole works within the Peer Network Hub as a Youth Connector. This role creates opportunities for Nicole to bring her lived experience and eagerness to connect, empower and journey alongside youth to facilitate leadership, self-advocacy, and mentors who learn to speak out, and empower themselves and others to accelerate social change.
This same ethic is reinforced through her recently completed university studies in Sociology (Bachelor of Arts), as she is passionate about equity and seeing people for their strengths and the person they encounter. Not as a label of the disability that puts up walls of assumptions, stigmas, barriers, and outdated community attitudes that stagnate social change. She endeavours to strive for this change.
