Kathy works as a Clinical Trial Coordinator at the Menzies Institute for Medical Research, at the University of Tasmania. At home, she is mum to two human children and two fur babies. As the mother of a young adult who lives with severe disability, Kathy has extensive first-hand experience recognising and meeting the additional challenges that individuals and families of those with disability may face. Kathy is keen to use her continuing lived experience with disability to help other families access the support that they need in their unique journeys. She believes that she can help make positive change on the ACD Tas Board.
