Michael is currently a part time Teaching Fellow with the University of Tasmania, having formerly served as Principal/CEO of Ballarat Christian College Ltd. He is a Board Member of the Non-Government Schools Registration Board in Tasmania. He is also a Board Member at Leighland Christian School where he is chair of the audit & risk committee. Meeting the requirements of children with disability in education has always been important for Michael. Michael has an interest in cricket and has served on the committee of the Wynyard & Districts Cricket Club. He and his wife own a small farming property in northwest Tasmania.
